Whimsical Wednesday

I've come across a few "knitter tags" in my home town -- a form of graffiti that can be easily removed. Check out some versions I have discovered online...

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

We had a huge blizzard here in Michigan on Tuesday night. I was able to stay home from work, it was so bad! I organized all of my photos on my surprise day off and wore pjs all day!

Here is a photo I took inspired by The Blizzard. I scored these green boots for $1! I'm having some fun with my mini studio....

Happy Friday!

Friday Fun

Still frigid and cold here! It's hard to get motivated when you're freezing to death!

Girls' night out tonight then antiques and art shows tomorrow. Can't wait.

Here's a little Friday Fun. I love these illustrations by Cherri Wood (aka Fy Simone) ...

Happy Friday! Stay warm...

Under the Sea

Remember this project? It's the yearly fund raiser I do to raise money for a Kalamazoo school's art department. Last year the theme was "Birds". This year it is "Under the Sea". I might do something with a mermaid. I love mermaids....

I love this Under the Sea piece...

Folky Dogs

Check out the dogs my mom painted. I scanned the originals and created cards for a Holiday Sale where I sold some of my Whimsical Oddities. She made a few bucks too!

Ready for Summer!

We got a taste of some warmth here in Michigan on New Year's Eve. Over 60 degrees! Then the awful white stuff started falling again.

I'm ready for summer. How about you?
